Wednesday, November 03, 2004 Halloween

You know I never spoke about my alpha Halloween adventures did I? Well it was pretty interesting. I was afraid that I would end up doing more routine celebration type things...thankfully I decided otherwise.

I ended up going to one of my cast member's Halloween party. I got dressed up as a vampire, something I usually do when I am too lazy to get dressed up--its not about trick-or-treating like it used to be, and went of to party city to get a pair of fangs. Those were some pretty cool fangs I might add, but I digress--off we went to the party.

At first glance, and maybe because of the music that was playing, I was afraid that I had decided to go to one of those adult parties where folks don't stop singing karaoke, people are doing the electric slide or Macarena, and one is blessed with the presence of several senior citizens. To my surprise, the event was a complete opposite of what I had expected.

The door was open, and I strolled right in. We were greeted by crazy (in a good way) young and old party-goers alike. We came to the party late and for a little while; we thought that we wouldn't get enough liquor to satisfy ourselves. It turned out the keg just needed a little boost. We ended up guarding it throughout the whole time.

I met some interesting people that night. I met several past and present cast members at the Faultline Theater. There was also this British guy who left a jolly old impression on me. Bullocks!! Joseph, the host, was very amiable as well. And, I feel I should mention a leather clad batman who a couple of my friends grew fond of.

The house was beautiful! It was located in the opulent part of Point Loma. It was very roomy and the backyard landscaping really had the power to draw spectators. It was also very well decorated for the occasion. I mean, the man was a Lawyer after all... I honestly couldn't expect any less.

We drank, socialized, smoked, some got ill, and we all laughed a lot that night. Very fun it was.
