I just got back from a friend's birthday. She happens to be one of my new friends, Bonnie. She is so cool. I love her already. She has this awesome boyfriend, by the name of Caleb, who is also totally awesome. These two create quite the dynamic pair. The world is a better place when you hang out with them. She just turned 18 today and I got her the perfect gift. You see, at The Living Room, she would always bum cigarettes. Always. So, I bought her a "buy two, get one free" 3 pack of Marlboro 27 blends- my faves. She loved it, as I thought she would. LOL. I saw the Speedster again tonight. Sick as a dog when I got there! This person just does not know what a limit is. The Speedster was the only one puking tonight- no one was surprised. I wanted to be able to talk with this person tonight, a serious convo- but I was sure this person was in no state to handle it. The Speedster tried to convo with me, but stomach problems interfered. The Speedster went home early. I did something good today. I was able to help Bonnie out. She was not enjoying herself at her own party because, she and Caleb had been arguing over issues that truly did not involve her. However- she couldn't help but blame herself. In reality, she was just being scapegoat upon. She was about to cry- on her birthday! I could not let that happen. I told her we were all there for her. Therefore, I decided to mediate. Problem solved. We couldn't have the party without her, especially if she decided to walk off. They were able to resolve their differences by the time we left. Of course, I had to help Caleb clean up. He was no longer having a good time- that was a sign for us to leave. The party was good even though it was short. I met more new people who I found as rather enjoyable company |
