Man....work work work. I eat, sleep, go to school, then work. Gosh. It’s a routine that murders the soul, I tell you. Is this what all those other college graduates had to go through? It makes me wonder about my path to success. You see, most people don't reap the rewards of their hardships until they turn forty. Remember the phrase, "Life begins at forty." That statement rectifies the idea that we don't mean anything or we don't hold any substantial value when we are young because we have no power, no credentials, and no point to be reckoned with. So it brings me to this notion, we shouldn't have to work when we are young; go to school yes, but work, HELL NO! That should be reserved for our forties because that's the time that all the schooling should pay off. |
