It happened again kids! One hell of a party broke down at the Jovi House!! Man, it’s been such a long time since we had one as kick-ass as the one I had Saturday night. Let's see who important to me came: The Speedster made an appearance, my two best friends, my 3 Living Room friends, 3 of The Speedster’s friends, Heather's man, Tasha's man, Alysse's man, and a lone ranger. The drinks were laid out: nothing but hard liquor (of course) and some mixers. We had old school hip hop and classic rock playing, the patio light on and raging hormones revved and ready to go! Jebus. I was so worried that things were going to fall apart as they have been recently. Then the Speedster decided to come along with 3 friends who helped bring down the house. It was awesome. Everyone was tipsy! Gahl, you won't believe how many couples were canoodling that night. I have never seen so many under one roof. The single folks decided to join in the action as well. My best friend’s man finally made things official. He did so in the cutest way; I again felt so happy for her. My room was being used and abused! Hell, yet another night at Jovi's house. It felt like people were waiting in line or sumthin! Sheesh, people were using ice cubes and handcuffs in there! Golly, one guy even got naked for all the smokers out on the patio. Can I say issues? I on the other hand, I relived history with the Speedster who was completely sober. This person is never sober. Then, that night, this person told me that drugs were not going to be a part of life anymore. I was so relieved and proud to hear that because of the couple bad trips that The Speedster had undergone and the dependence on drugs was getting out of control. The Speedster was getting over it. You know, this person is wonderful sober. This person's main purpose for getting high in the past was because shyness was a huge feat and being one ‘self was incredibly difficult. The Speedster and I actually shared a decent conversation for the first time in a long time. I received concern in my topics- that meant a lot to me. I happily found The Speedster growing more and more comfortable with the idea of self and those surrounding. Including me=). The karaoke broke out and people were singing '70s and Disney songs happily drunk. I was indeed, quite happily drunk. After we partied 'till we could no more, I pulled out sleeping bags and blankets for those who were crashing. This was something I hadn't done in the past, and it proved successful. I went outside with a buddy of mine and had conversations about pigmentation, God, different cultures...etc. He was definitely on something though. I hear that he hadn't slept for 4 days because he was on a Speed trip. Damn. This kid was out of control. He eventually conked out suddenly in midconversation. That was so weird. I never saw someone do that before; I thought he was narcoleptic. He's been going through a lot. I feel so sorry for him. When I grew tired, I shared the bed with The Speedster, and then awoke to a water gun’s cold sprits. The lone ranger shot us!! That bastard. He's a cool kid. I didn't want the party to end. I especially didn't want The Speedster (and the 3 friends) to go the next morning, but they seemed anxious to clean up. I was hoping a pizza was in order. Oh well, great things never last=). This was definitly a night that I'll never forget. |
