Tuesday, August 24, 2004 The World Lost a Good Man Today

I dedicate today to a very good friend of mine, Rene Higgenbothem: Father, Husband, Sailor, Hero, Actor, Magician, Biker, and Friend.

It was to my shock and disdain to find out that his life had been forfeited all too soon. I wish from the bottom of my heart, that I could have done more to show him that I was always there for him; to listen and be his friend whenever he needed me. I have failed him. And now, I shall always miss him.

Those who knew him will always remember his talent at card tricks. He never failed to impress and entertain all of those around him with his swift hands and his knack for tricking the eye. Never have I seen better.

Those who knew him knew how dedicated he was to those he cared about, as well. Rene had the capability of friendship to a tee. He was a true friend. I will miss Snake (from "The School for Scandal," the play that he debuted his acting talent and that I met him through.) So many now mourn. May God bless his soul.
