Wednesday, June 09, 2004 The Missing Grunions

So, Monday night...I was told that The Running of the Grunions was going on.    I snagged a few buddies and went to OB to see if we can catch some mating little fish in action! There we were, cold, tired, hungry, desparate for exitement, at OB- and not a single Grunion in sight!! Well, okay...there was one grunion...but only one of my friends saw it!! Sheesh.    Well, Sunset Cliffs was gorgious at least. I wanted to climb down the cliffs and get as close as possible to the water. I love feeling the spray of salt water crashing against the rocks. However, the friend that I was with was too afraid and worried that I'd be stolen away by the mighty waves. Therefore, I didn't get as close to the edge as I wanted to, without my pal holding me back. Oh well=).
