Friday, February 24, 2006 Disneyland and DCA...REVAMPED

was killer fun.  Rode some of the good rides: Space Mountain twice, Pirates, California Screamin', Alice in Wonderland, the new Monster's Inc. ride, and Indiana Jones. The other rides had too many people in line or were shut down.  I had quality time with the friends and got to play hooky from school.  It was sweet.

--Besides the fact that the sun beat down on us with a vengeance and I had a migraine all day! I also felt like I got another minor Salmonella poisoning from my freakin' unrefrigerated turkey sandwich! Thanks for sharing the cooler guys.  Jk. My fault.  I shoulda packed PB and J.

Here are some pictures! (I have the Bluetooth Adapter, now.)

In the car, on the way to the magical land, no one is safe:

We got there.  The sun was blazing, and yet we marched on:

And on...

DON'T GIVE UP ASHLEY!!! MARCH!!

Not only did we ride the rides, we gazed at silly mirrors:

And wore silly hats:

Then, the Indiana Jones Ride Fiasco with Todd.   LoL.  Talk about persistance.

The Indiana Jones Ride Fiasco
We got in a 35 minute line for the ride, even though we were already beat by then.  Nai and I weren't sure if we really wanted to stand in another line.

Suddenly, Nai utterly ditched us! Ditched me! (That bitch.)  And I was forced to endure the line for the sake of Todd because I love him.

Then, the speaker guy announced that the line was going to take longer than expected.  He annouced that TWICE. Great.

After 25 minutes, we got into the temple and deep into the claustraphobic tunnels, where the speaker guy annouced that the ride had broken down!  I desperately wanted to leave, but Todd was steadfast.

We waited another 15 minutes without knowing if the ride will ever start up again, in freaky tunnels with a billion people.  Panic much? A tad.

Then, the line moved, but stopped twice for like, 10 minutes per stop! Ahh! Above all things, we could also see our destination. I was fanatical...but I didn't trouble Todd with my emotions.

Finally, we were at the door of the jeep when the inspector found the jeep to be defective and we had to wait for the next one!  Then on the next one, another inspector played a joke on us, pretending that this jeep was defective! I screamed at him, "Thanks! We already waited long enough!!!"  The people were like, "Yeah!!" I had had it.

But the ride was so much fun. I released all my pent up energy in role-playing with Todd (who was the jeep driver) and we totally acted the roll of two adventurers in ancient ruins.  That was fun:  "Todd! Start the freakin' jeep! Do it!!!!," "Omg! A boulder!" and so on.  Haha.

My head was pounding by the end of the day and my stomach was sick.  I think most of us felt that way, though;  Nai, Ashley...our meds seemed to have no effect on us by then.

The park closed at 8pm last night.

It was time to go, thank God! That was the longest short Disneyland day of all time.

-However, my day wasn't over (and neither is your reading, dammit! =P).  I ended up playing WoW with Mackerooskie, for there was a large server-wide event going on.  I played for an hour or so until, my head and stomach got the best of me and I could no longer endure no matter how much I wanted to.
I was done. I passed the F out.
